Linda Fay Ferguson McElyea passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1942, in Morgan County, to Joseph Matthew Dalrymple and Mary Lois Vest Dalrymple.

She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman that touched the lives of many. She was a devoted Christian that loved to sing gospel music and spread the word. She had an immense love for her family and her church family. She will be remembered for always being there for others, her many selfless acts, her cooking, as well as her sassiness,

She was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Wayne McElyea, her parents, her daughter; Tracy Eddy-LeCroy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hartselle.
