LB Burney, 79, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at his residence. He was born September 30, 1947, in Cullman County, to Lonnie Hubert Burney and Annie Mildred Smith Burney.

He was employed by Brown and Root, as a Construction Manager, prior to his retirement. He was a loving father, a hard worker and loved his family with all of his heart.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and two sisters- Helen Burney Yarbrough and Betty Sullivan.

Survivors include-

Two Sons- Trent Burney (Britney), and Colt Wheeler Burney,

Two Daughters- Angie Burleson (Thomas), and Nikkie Lee Burney,

a Brother - Lonnie Burney (Karen),

Eight Grandchildren- Whitney Steele (Austin), Morgan Emens, Kaylie McCulloch (Lane), McKenzie Wilson (Drew), Brayden Burney, Payton Burney, Lexie Alred and Braily Alred,

and Great Grandchildren.
