Larry Dale Garlen

Graveside funeral service and interment for Larry Dale Garlen, 73, of Decatur, will be Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Cemetery in Athens with Denise Jones officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No public visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Garlen died on August 27, 2026. He was born June 21, 1953, in Limestone County to Joseph William Garlen and Dollie Dean Mitchell Garlen. Mr. Garlen previously worked at Delphi and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Barbara Nell Bradford.
