Funeral service for Kenneth Dale Free Sr. age 71 of Falkville will be Friday, February 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brian Murphy officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Military Honors provided by the United States Army. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Free, who was born September 17, 1953, in Falkville, Alabama to Truman Clyde "Pet" Free and Magaline Laverne Brown Free, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his home in Falkville.

He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He retired from the Copeland Corporation in Hartselle where he worked in the Maintenance department. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His pride and joy were his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will carry forward his enduring spirit and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his parents whose guiding influence shaped the remarkable life he led.
