A Celebration of Life Service for Kelley Lynn Moore Belew age 68 of Hartselle will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 12:00 noon at New Life Church in Falkville with Brother Phillip Hardin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. A time of Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Saturday at the Church.

Kelley was born on March 28, 1958, in Hartselle, Alabama, to Robert Cue Moore and Doris Jean Jones Moore. She peacefully transitioned from this life on April 6, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, surrounded by the love of those who knew and cherished her.

Kelley was a 1976 graduate of Morgan County High School. On December 20, 1977, she married the love of her life, Larry Jackson "Jackie" Belew, who preceded her in death. Their love was steadfast and enduring. On May 10, 1996, Kelley and Jackie were blessed with a son, Robert Jackson "RJ" Belew, who was truly the joy and light of their lives.

A devoted member of New Life Church, Kelley's life reflected her faith, kindness, and gentle spirit. She spent several years serving as a substitute teacher at Falkville Elementary School, where her warm heart and caring nature touched the lives of many children and fellow educators.

Kelley found happiness in the simple, beautiful moments of life. She loved tending to her flowers, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football, and spending time in the kitchen creating treats for those she loved. She was especially known for her delicious cookies, which she shared so generously. Her love for animals was evident throughout her life, and her dogs were always a special part of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Doris Jean Moore, and her beloved husband, Jackie Belew.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Jackson "RJ" Belew; her devoted and beloved fur baby, Harvey, who was a constant source of comfort, love, and companionship; her aunt, Modeana Hardin; and a host of cousins and extended family members who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Kelley's life was a gift to all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and quiet strength will never be forgotten. Though her absence leaves a deep void, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She lived with a quiet resilience that reflected this truth, "You have been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved."
