Funeral service for Judy Kay Taylor, 72, will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Royce Teague officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taylor died on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 20, 1953, in Cullman County to William Gay Duke and Vida Mae Strawbridge Duke. Mrs. Taylor worked in assembly at GTE prior to her retirement. Judy loved sewing and making dolls. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles and talking with everyone. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rickey Jerome Taylor, her brother, Larry Gay Duke, her sister and brother-in-law, Wanda & Lonnie Collins and a granddaughter, Brilee Taylor.
