A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Josh Smith, 47, will be Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Rock Creek Cemetery with Bro. Randy Sellers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No public visitation is scheduled.

Mr.  Smith passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at his residence.  He was born July 16, 1978, in Morgan County, to WyVaughn Smith and Robbie Spratlin Smith.

He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. His father preceded him in death.

Survivors include

Mother - Robbie Smith,

Brothers - Jason Smith (Jessica) and
Jeremy Smith (Julie),

Nieces and Nephews - Audrey McLemore (Michael Cloud), Cole Smith, Alaina Smith, and Carley Grace Smith,

Faithful Companion - Flee-Bo,

Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Jeremy Smith, Cole Smith, Michael Cloud McLemore, Jonathan Shaddix, and Dale Spratlin.

Honorary Pallbearer is Elton Shaddix.
