Funeral service for Mr. John A. Glasscock, 98, of Hartselle, AL will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.

Mr. Glasscock passed away at home on March 27, 2025. He was born on January 20, 1927 in Morgan County, AL. He was an airplane and engine mechanic in the Air Force in his early years. Mr. Glasscock was a World War II Veteran. He was employed as a machinist for Wolverine Tube, and also was a Crop-Duster. He flew planes all of his adult life and enjoyed riding his motorcycle until about the age of 88, and drove until the age of 94. He loved his family dearly and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle. He was a Alabama Football fan.

Preceding him in death were his wife; Barbara Hale Glasscock, his parents; John, Sr. and Sally Dobbs Glasscock, a son; John Hopkins, two brother; Asa Woodrow Glasscock, and Major Truman Gregory Glasscock, and four sisters; Gerdys L. Glasscock Wilson, Eloise Glasscock, Mary Elise Glasscock Summers, and Marguaret Ann Glasscock.
