Funeral service for John A. Fowler, 93, will be Monday, September 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Wilks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Fowler passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at his residence. He was born July 2, 1933, in Fayette County, Alabama, to Lou Allen Fowler and Zella Dubose Fowler.
Mr. Fowler was the Owner and Operator of Drive Systems, Inc., and handled Industrial Sales, prior to his retirement. He was a member of Beltline Church of Christ, was a United States Army Veteran and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents and siblings- Vistus May, Ormand Fowler, Virtus Hubbard, Adele Hollingsworth, Huey Fowler, Nell Frederick, Dess Kirkland, L.A. Fowler, Hulon Fowler, and Joe Fowler.
Survivors include
Wife - Shirley Banks Fowler,
Daughter - Sandy Harbin (Dr. Steve Harbin),
Grandchildren- John Michael Harbin (Macie),
Reed Harbin, Clint Harbin, and Anna Harbin.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Steve Harbin, John Michael Harbin, Reed Harbin,
Clint Harbin, Paul May and Kyle Dickson.
