Jimmy Dayle Patterson, 75, died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at his residence. He was born September 4, 1949, in Lauderdale County, to John Herbert Patterson and Ora Thetus Lovell Patterson, who preceded him in death.

He was employed as a truck driver for Southern Water, prior to his retirement. He was a United States Navy Veteran, who served in the Vietnam War. Jimmy also was a mechanic, and a patient care-worker for a group home. He loved teasing his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the Smokey Mountains and really loved his dog, Furby. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
