Funeral service for Jimmy David Lindley, 80, will be Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Lindley passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026.  He was born October 16, 1945, in Morgan County,  to John R. Lindley and Ruby Louise Uptain Lindley.

He was employed by Russell's Auto, as a Mechanic, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars and watching Westerns. He really loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two daughters- Shelia Lindley and Amy Motes, and a grandson- Jaxson Turrentine.

Sister - Deborah Lindley,

Summer Drinkard, Matthew Tarvin,
Joshua Lindley, McKenzie Letson,
Savanna Smith, and Alexis Nieto.

Ten Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Alton Weaver, Dale Weaver, Steven Drinkard, Justin Alldredge, Aden Duckworth, and Harley Reed.
