A Memorial service for Jesse "Wayne" Hardin, 79, will be at  the Evergreen Cemetery at  1:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2026. No Visitation is scheduled. A time of fellowship with drinks and snacks will be following the service at the Fire Department. at 2:00PM

Mr. Hardin passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at his residence.  He was born July 16, 1946, in Morgan County,  to Warren Edgar Hardin and Jewell Ardella Moore Hardin.

Mr. Hardin was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and brother. He loved NASCAR, westerns, hunting, fishing and traveling his Country.  Mr. Hardin was a United States Army Veteran and served his country proudly.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife- Mary Ruth Hardin, and a brother- Frankie Hardin.

Cynthia Hardin Buckelew (Jason),

Brothers - Kenneth and Kathy Hardin,
Raymond and Barbara Johns,
Russell and Patricia Johns,
Joe and Gwen Johns,
Ronald and Bonnie Johns,

Sisters- Rheba Acton, and
Marsha and Tom Morris,

Eight Grandchildren and
Twelve Great Grandchildren

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to the Massey Volunteer Fire Department.
