Funeral service for Janet E. Stephens, 84, will be Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Tripp Brogden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery (Upshaw).  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stephens passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Summerford Nursing Home.  She was born November 28, 1941, in Tazwell County, Illinois,  to Russell Howard David Fuller and Marie Iola Elaine Duschesne Fuller.

She was employed by the Will County Department of Public Health in Illinois, as an Administrative Assistant, prior to her retirement.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She collected angels, and enjoyed baking and cake decorating.

Preceding her in death were her husband-James Maurice Stephens, her parents- Russell and Marie Fuller, and a brother- Vernon Fuller.

Survivors include-

Sons - Chris Warnick (DeAnn), and
Mark Warnick (Cleo),

Daughter - Christi Warnick Bedell (Michael),

Eight Grandchildren,

Three Great Grandchildren,

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family would like to express "Special Thanks" to the Staff at Summerford Nursing Home for the care given during her stay there.
