Funeral service for James E. Hall, 79, will be Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lynn Harvel officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Hall passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his residence.  He was born March 26, 1946, in Winston County,  to William Wesley Hall and Sarah Evelyn Womble Hall, who preceded him in death.

He was employed in Management for several Financial Companies over his career. He enjoyed working in his shop and there wasn't much he couldn't fix or build. He always did an excellent job on any project. He loved to fish and garden and could cook the best Bar-B-Que, with his signature sauce.  Mr. Hall attended First Presbyterian Church in Hartselle. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Son - James Alan Hall (Shelley),

Grandchildren - Wes Hall and Evie Hall, Mitch Grammer (Jenna), Will Grammer, Claire Grammer Harris (Charlie),

Great Grandchild - Winnie James Grammer,

Brother - Charles Hall,

Sister - Connie Hall Giardina.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Grammer, Will Grammer, Wes Hall, and Roger Terry.
