Funeral service for James "BooBoo" Cowart, 41, will be Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Cowart-McCulloch passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born December 7, 1984, in Morgan County, to James Franklin Cowart and Sandra Ann McCulloch.

He was employed by McCay's Hardwood Floors, as an Installer, prior to his passing. He loved to work on cars, enjoyed fishing anything outdoors, and Alabama football. He was a loved husband, father, grandfather, and was a good big brother. His mother preceded him in death.

Sons- Shane, Silas, and Crimson,

Daughters- Emily Harris, Shayneah, and Abby,

Brothers- Jackson, Branon, Elijah, Noah, Joseph, Steven, and Austin,

Grandchildren - Addison, Cammon, Miles VanWaggon, and Madilyn,

Aunt Sussie and Uncle Thomas.
