Funeral service for James Anderson Cooper, 94, will be Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike McLemore officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Somerville Historic Cemetery . Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Cooper died on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born December 6, 1930, in Morgan County, to Frank Hollis Cooper and Alta Holmes Cooper.

He was a machinist, employed by Quality Screw Company, prior to his retirement.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter- Jackie Cooper, and three grandchildren - Quintin Keith Cooper, Jake William Law, and Julius James Anderson Cooper.

Jami Grace, Joni Faith Law, and
Kyle and Nora Mirochna.
