Jackie Luker, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 16, 1946, in Morgan County, to William Obed Luker and Euphanell Spain Luker, who preceded him in death.

He was employed by the Lurleen B. Wallace Center as a Maintenance Worker and Painter, prior to his retirement. He was affectionately known as "the animal whisperer". He loved animals and had an unusual way with them. He loved his family especially his children nd grandchildren. He enjoyed building things.

Sons - Sean (Bonnie), Shannon and Jason Luker (Jude)

Brothers- Jonny (Dorothy), Edward Luker (Gwen) and Michael Luker (Diane)
