A Celebration of Life funeral service for Helen Louise Scott, 72, will be Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Pattillo Street Church of God with Pastor Gary Phillips officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.   Burial will be in Baileyton Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Scott passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at her residence.  She was born January 31, 1954, in Morgan County, to Virgil Leldon Harris and Bertha Lucille Roy Harris.

Helen's passion in life was to take care of people. She spent most of her adult life as a CNA for Falkville Nursing Home, where she worked until she was unable to do so. She then was a stay-at-home wife and grandmother, who looked after and helped raise her grandchildren. She lived her life helping, caring, and in service of others.

Preceding her in death were her loving husband, of almost 32 years, Michael Scott, her parents, and a son-Christopher.
