A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Helen Jean Lorenz, 85, will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Caddo Congregational Cemetery with Kent Quinn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Miss Lorenz passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at her residence.  She was born April 16, 1940, in Cullman County, to Arthur Lorenz and Willie Makemson Lorenz.

She was employed as a bookkeeper for Dr. Barr, prior to her retirement.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister- Irene Woodall, and Life Partner - Webb Lunsford.

Survivors include:

Niece - Sabrina Woodall,

Nephews - Brent Woodall (Marie), and
Brandon Woodall (Deanna),

Three Great Nieces - Taelor, Jordan and Hannah, and

Three Great Nephews - Garrison, Chaz, and Daniel.
