In Loving Memory of Heather Nicole Bell-Daniel

With broken hearts but endless gratitude for her life, we share the passing of Heather Nicole Bell-Daniel on July 21, 2026. Heather began her journey in Mobile, Alabama, on October 22, 1979, bringing a special light into this world. To know her was to be touched by her generous spirit and unforgettable warmth. Though she was taken from us too soon, she filled our lives with pure joy, unconditional love, and a song that will never truly fade. Heather was the cherished daughter of Brenda and Steve Gowdy, the late Robin Bell, and the late Charlie Summerford.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Miriam Harville, Floyd Bell, and Barbara Vines Duke.

She is survived by her beloved children, Gunner Michael Daniel and Madison Nicole Alexander, who were the light of her life. Her joy was further magnified by her five grandchildren.

Heather's family was the cornerstone of her life. Her brother Robbie Bell (Jennifer) and her sister Angie Tomlin (Greg) shared countless cherished moments with her. She is also survived by her Grandmom Marjorie Jane Kramer, her stepsiblings, Stacy Summerford Johnston, Miranda Summerford Griffie (Derrick), Courtney Gowdy and Gregory Gowdy. She was a beloved aunt to Britni Valentour (Garrett), Baley Bell, Wyatt Tomlin (Karsi), and Abbey Grace Tomlin. Her family extended beyond immediate relations with her aunts Paula Wilson (Sparky), Julie Harville, Wanda Bartlett (Howard), Pamela Bryson (David), and Rebecca Worthy; and her uncles Ron Bell (Dana), Kenneth Bell, and David Bell. Heather dearly loved her 2 great-nephews, 4 great-nieces, and many cousins who all also loved and adored her. Survivors also include Heather's loyal companion, her lab Atlas McCoy, whom she occasionally referred to as "Copper.” He was always by her side, bringing her joy and comfort.

Education was important to Heather, and she pursued it with dedication. She attended Falkville High School, graduated from Foley High School, and went on to earn a medical assistant degree from CAPPS College. Her career was a testament to her caring nature and commitment to helping others.

Heather was a woman of many talents. Gifted with the voice of an angel, she found her greatest joy in singing. Her musical gift was a blessing she shared freely, and her voice was a source of comfort and inspiration to many. Heather was also a talented crafter, known for her heartfelt, handmade gifts that she lovingly created for her family and friends she loved so dearly. Heather also loved cuddling Atlas and sneaking him inside whenever she could!

Her infectious laugh captivated everyone she met, and her God-given singing voice was a constant blessing. Heather's sparkling blue eyes and beautiful smile could light up a room. She loved deeply, lived boldly, and was unapologetically outspoken. No matter where she was or whom she was around, she would praise her Lord and Savior, singing praise and worship music at the top of her lungs and lifting her hands in joyful adoration.

A celebration of Heather's life was held on July 29, 2026, at Peck Funeral Home, located at 1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, Alabama 35640. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, and the celebration of life will follow in the chapel. As her family lovingly shares, "Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure; she is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure." Heather Nicole Bell-Daniel embodied the spirit of Proverbs 31:25: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." May Heather's song continues to play in our hearts, reminding us of the strength, joy, and love she shared with the world.
