Gary Allen Brannon

Gary Allen Brannon, 65 of Hartselle, passed away Oct 2, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital, surrounded by family.

Gary was born August 3, 1961 in Munich Germany to Carson and Sue Brannon.

Funeral service and a time of visitation will be announced later.

 Burial will be at Gum Springs Baptist Church, Hartselle.

Gary had a strong work ethic and was a welder by trade. He loved his family and being a ‘pawpaw’. He loved fast cars, rock n roll and playing his bass guitar.

He is survived by his son Allen Brannon (Sandy), daughters Brittany Brannon and Brenda Morgan as well as seven grandchildren. Brothers, Donnie, Greg(Lisa), and Tony Brannon. Sister, Patricia Beaty (Danny). Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricky Brannon; sister, Cathey McCarthy; nephews Thomas and Joey Brannon.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the doctors, nurses and staff at Huntsville Hospital ER and CICU I.
