Frank Monk

Funeral service for Frank Monk, age 82 of Hartselle will be Monday, January 13, 2025, at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Bates and Brother Geoff Halbrooks officiating with burial in the New Center Baptist Church Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Monk, who was born February 11, 1942, in Cullman County to Hollis Levert Monk and Fleda Stringer Monk, died on Friday, January 10, 2025, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: Holland Monk, Larry Monk, and Carl Monk.

Frank was a 1960 graduate of Morgan County High School, worked as a dispatcher for Baker Transport for many years and was an owner/operator, long haul truck driver. He loved going to Lacon Trade Day, watching Westerns on Television and really enjoyed reading, especially Westerns.

Son: Phillip Monk (Debra)

3 Step-Grandchildren
5 Step-Great-Grandchildren

Brennon Johnson, Brayson Maples, Dee Monk, Ivan Halbrooks, Danny Hogan, and Ricky Bracken will serve as Pallbearers.

Greg Terry, Jason Maples, Hoyt McCaghren, Ronnie Davis, Kenny Posey, Frankie Kirkpatrick and Jody Maples are Honorary Pallbearers.
