Funeral service for Frances Gail Arnold, 78, will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Dobbs officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Arnold passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born February 6, 1947, in Morgan County, to Oscar Kimbrough Slaten and Beatrice Lee Griffin Slaten.

She was a good hearted, loving woman and a great mother and sister, who loved her family very much. She was employed by Parkway Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department, prior to her retirement. Mrs. Arnold loved working in her flower garden, was a member of Forrest Hills Church, and enjoyed just spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her husband- Claude Douglas Arnold, her parents, a son- Brandon Arnold and three sisters.

Survivors include:

two Sons - Tracy Dale Arnold, and
Jeff Douglas Arnold,

three Brothers- Edgar Van Slaten (Mary Ann),
Kenneth Olen Slaten, and
Michael Allen Slaten
