Funeral service for Faye Cheatham Waugh, 80, will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Graveside service will be held at 6:30 PM at Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waugh died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 27, 1944, in Lawrence County, to James Frank Cheatham and Ruby Mae Rodgers Cheatham.

Mrs. Waugh was a homemaker, great mom, and wife. She was affectionately known as "Mama Faye" to numerous others through the years. She was an active member of Hartselle Band boosters for many years. She was a former member of Westview Church of Christ and a member of Gooch Lane Church of Christ in Madison.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother- Roger Cheatham, and a sister-in-law- Wilma Cheatham.

Family requests that donations be made to Children's Hospital in Birmingham and to St. Jude's. Both donations would be acceptable.

Husband - Charles Jerry Waugh, Sr.,

Son - Jerry Waugh (Ashley),

Daughters - Rebecca Clapp (Richard) and
Denise Sisulak (Ron),

Brothers- Howell Cheatham and
Hoyt Cheatham (Joyce),

Sister-in-law - Vicki Cheatham,

Fourteen Grandchildren and

Four Great Grandchildren

and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Zac Jones, T J Jones, Aubrey Clapp, Jameson Clapp, Titus Clapp, Ace Waugh, Chesley Clapp, Philemon Clapp, Asher Jones, and Paxton Jones.

Flower Girls will be Savanah Clapp, Maevis Clapp, Beverly Clapp, Deborah Clapp. Vyneta Clapp, Molly Waugh, Willow Jones, Crystal Jones, Carly Jones, and Wren Jones.
