Funeral service for Eunice Ree Chappell, 75, will be Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Edward Armstrong officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chappell passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 16, 1949, in Arab, Alabama, to Andrew Frank Armstrong and Floretta Stiles Armstrong.
Mrs. Chappell was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very good cook, and owned 31 Auto, and was a Southern Baptist. She was employed by Morgan County School System as a substitute teacher prior to her retirement. She also enjoyed fishing.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and sisters; Evelyn Wingard, Elsie Wimberly, and Rachel Armstrong.
Survivors include
Husband - Thomas Jerry Chappell,
Sons - David Chappell (Angela) and
Kris Chappell (Bethany),
Daughter - Kenya Smith (James),
Brother - Ed Armstrong,
Sister - Ravenell Khan
Seven Grandchildren - Carmen McCrary, Hunter Childers, Dylan Smith, Jaelin Chappell, Brody Smith, Mason Chappell, and Stella Chappell.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Childers, Mason Chappell, Dylan Smith, Terry Stewart, Brody Smith, Derrick Henderson, Jessie Henderson, and Tariq Khan.
