A graveside service for Elizabeth Jane Veitch Greer, 88, of Falkville, will be Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00AM at Eva Cemetery with Bro. Bo Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Greer was born on August 12, 1937 to Elmer and Sarah Veitch in Bessemer, Alabama. She died on June 20, 2026 at Falkville Health Care.

Mrs. Greer was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, spend time with her family, and she really loved gospel music sung by Elvis Presley. Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Issacc Veitch, Elmer Veitch, James Veitch, and Frank Veitch, sisters Jean Wallace, and Peggy Thrasher, and great grandson little John Phillips.

Survivors include:

Three sons: Calvin Doriety of Birmingham, AL, Scott Doriety (Jeanni) of Cullman AL, and David Greer of Falkville, AL.

Daughter: Robin Knowles (James) of Falkville, AL.

Six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Daniel Smith, Jaycob Green, Nathan Knowles, Dakota Phillips, and Damien Phillips.
