Elizabeth (Beth) N. Sprague, 85 passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1940, the second of three daughters to Hugh A. and Mary Elizabeth (Peg) Jones.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Steve, her parents, and her sister, Patricia Brown.

Beth is survived by her sons, Steve (Misty) Sprague, Decatur, Al and Kevin Sprague, Charlotte, NC. Her grandsons, Chase (Erin) Sprague Decatur, AL. Clayton Sprague & Garrett Sprague, Huntersville, NC. Great grandson, Hudson and Great granddaughter, Logan, Decatur, AL. Her sister, Roz (Bill) Watson, several nieces, nephews and cousins. And her much loved, "Birthday Club".

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2 pm at St. John's Episcopal Church, 202 Gordon Dr SE, Decatur, AL 35601. Interment will follow at the McKimmon columbarium in the Memorial Gardens at St. John's. The family will receive friends in the Parish Library on Saturday from 1pm until the time of service.  The family would like to thank their extended family and friends for all their love and support during this most difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made in Beth's name to Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Jude's or the animal rescue of your choice.
