Edward St. John, 86, of Hartselle, AL, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 30, 1939, in Morgan County, AL to Bryan and Alice St. John.

Ed worked in the Freight Trucking Industry before his retirement. He was kind, witty and always had a funny story to share. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and Alabama football.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Letha St. John; his children, Eddie St. John (Lory), Angie Marine (Simon), Terry Thrasher (Jerry) and Tommy Bolan (Laura), and sister Sue Stanley. He was loved dearly by his eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Speegle St. John, and four brothers Wayne, Wray, Billy & J.E. St. John and one sister Martha Smith.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at Blue Springs Baptist Church on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM. The funeral service will be at 2:00PM with Pastor Tommy Bolan and Bro. Richard Richie officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
