Donna Jo McMinemon Moore

Donna Jo McMinemon Moore, age 61, of Hartselle, AL, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026.

Born on October 30, 1964 in Decatur, AL, she is the child of McCoy McMinemon and Nancy Busby Solberg.

Donna had a deep passion for working for the Lord, helping others, and the beach.

Donna is survived by her husband James Moore, daughter Chelsi Thornberry (Curtis), 2 grandsons Lance La Rue and Noah Thornberry, her dad and step mom McCoy and Bonnie Jean McMinemon, her mother Nancy Busby Solberg and step dad Ken (Kennypoo) Solberg , her brother Mac McMinemon (Stacy), sisters Anita Wiley (Tim), Connie Box (John), several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and a church family that will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, step dad Calvin Busby, nephew (Brentley), niece (Dakota), and father in law (Ray).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Calvary Church, located at 9848 Hwy 36 East, Lacey's Spring, AL. Her Pastor Corey Morrow will be officiating the service.
