Funeral service for Dennis Allen Nix, 67, will be Monday, October 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Somerville Historical Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Nix passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Falkville Health Care Center.  He was born March 22, 1958, in Morgan County,  to Henry Ellis Nix, Jr. and Mildred Inez French Nix.

He was employed by the City of Hartselle, for the Street Department, prior to his retirement.  He loved his family and was a wonderful husband, son, father, brother, and grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Daughter - Christy Amanda Craig (Allen),

Brother - Boyce Nix,

Sister - Lisa Goodwin,

Grandchild - Layne Nave.
