David Keith Roberts, 73 of New Market, AL. passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital Women and Children.  He was born February 20, 1952 in Morgan County, Al to Charles Thomas Roberts and Minnie Telette Turney Roberts.

David graduated from Decatur High School in 1970.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Mr. Roberts served in the United States Air Force from 1971-1979 as an Aerospace Physiology Technician and was stationed at Lubbock Air Force Base in Lubbock, TX.  He also graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.  He was employed by NASA (Marshall Space Flight Center), in the Finance and Accounting Department, as a Budget Analyst prior to his retirement.

David enjoyed spending time with family and friends; reading books and listening to music; nature and outdoor walks.  He was a lifelong lover of racquet sports and enjoyed dancing.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Daughter-Andrea Elizabeth Richardson (Joe) of Decatur, AL

Brother-Charles T. Roberts (Darlene) of Roswell, GA

Sister-Jan Sanders (Mark) of Somerville, AL
