Funeral service for Darlene McClendon, 67, will be Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cricket Watson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. McClendon died on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her residence.  She was born June 11, 1958, in Florida, to Lebran Dowell Duncan and Sylvia Olean Kirby Duncan.

She was a great mother and grandmother. She loved plants, animals, but loved her family the most. She was a kind-hearted person who loved helping people. She was free-spirited.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry Redus McClendon, Jr., her parents, and a granddaughter- Maudella Ramos.

Daughters - Brandie Braden,
Shea Gonzalez (Raul Gonzalez), and
Brenda Cavnar (Luke Cavnar),

Brothers- Dowell Duncan (Myra Duncan) and
Roger McNeil (Connie McNeil),

Sisters- Diane Bradley (Bug Bradley) and
Jennifer Terry (Freddie Terry),

Ten Grandchildren and
Four Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Shane Bradley, Austin Dingler, Lee Bradley, Robert Osborn, Clayton Epperson, and Roger McNeil.
