A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Danny Payne, 79, will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Gardens in Fayette, Alabama, with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Payne died on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1947, in Jefferson County, to Sherman Payne and Vaudine Tidwell Payne, who preceded him in death.

He was The Owner and Operator of Black & Payne Service, working on HVAC services and systems, prior to his retirement. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Joyce and was preceded in death by his first wife- Wynelle Campbell Payne. Danny was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ. He loved camping and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Byron Payne (Stephanie), and

Stephen Thorne (Barbara),

Daughters - Kristie Raines and

Karen Holt (Frankie),

Eight Grandchildren and

Fifteen Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Bruce Payne, Brock Payne, Zack Alred, Chris Roberts, Frankie Holt, and Douglas Brown.
