Obituary

Funeral service for Danny Lee Moore age 62 of Danville will be Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodger White and Pastor Anthony Moore officiating with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until service time Monday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore, who was born May 18, 1963, in Morgan County to Woodrow Wilson Moore and Lillie Mae Tidwell Moore, died on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital. His parents preceded him in death.

Danny was an excellent carpenter and worked 25+ years as a Job Superintendent for Fite Building Company.  He had a saying in the construction world, "If you poured concrete, I poured more!"

He was a wonderful family man, great husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite place to visit was the Great Smokey Mountains and would have moved there to live if it had been possible. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

TyShawn Moore, Makinley Moore, Aidyn Knowles, Patrick "Te-Man" Douglas, and Scarlet Lewis

Great Grandchild:    Xzhalix Blaze
