A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Connie Joyce Gibson, 72, will be Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Russell Peck Cemetery at Pines Baptist Church,  with Bro. Austin Barrera officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

She was born Tuesday, February 3, 1953, in Morgan County to Homer George and Ambra Shrader George.  Connie passed away peacefully at her residence, with her family by her side. She was a homemaker for her family, whom she loved fiercely, along with her friends, who meant the world to her. She was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold.

Preceding her in death were her husband- C.W. Gibson, and her parents.

Survivors include

Daughter - Andrea Gibson Townsend,

Son - Jonathan Gibson (Kim),

Grandchildren -  Zoe Gibson and Elijah Paul Gibson,
