Funeral service for Colter James Nix, 18 days old, will be Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Colter passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born April 7, 2026, in Madison County,  to Emily Nix and Austin Reeves .

Colter had the sweetest smile and was a beautiful baby boy. He had mom's dimples and pretty blue eyes, and was a good snuggler. He was a perfect baby, that had a big sister who loved to help take care of him, and a huge family that loved him dearly.

He had an Aunt, Alise Taylor, that preceded him in death.
