Charlotte S. Holloway

Charlotte Holloway passed away peacefully in her home on Oct 31, 2026 at the age of 81, with family by her side.

She was born November 13, 1944, in Limestone County, to Gordon Wilford Stewart and Oma Lou Downs Stewart.

Charlotte was the matriarch of her family; her generous heart was felt by all, whether through being the ultimate gift giver or just making sure everyone felt welcome and was well fed. She was a matriarch of the community; a consummate caregiver, serving as a nurse for over 40 years, as well as being an active member at her church.

Charlotte was also the matriarch of herself; with her signature fiery red hair and a fiery spirit to match. She was an avid promoter of self care through retail therapy and had the perfect accessory for every outfit.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charlotte’s life on Sunday, November 8 from 2-4 at Peck funeral home in Hartselle.
