Charlie Odis Latta, 87, of Hartselle, passed away at Cullman Regional Medical Center on Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1939, in Cherokee County, AL., to Ed and Ida Latta.

Mr. Latta was a big football fan, and especially enjoyed Alabama football. He loved his dogs and left behind his precious companion, Angel. He loved the Earth and just watching things grow. He enjoyed working in his yard, and watching farms and crops grow.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ida Latta; a brother, W. A. Latta; and a sister, Ellen Garmon.

Survivors include:

Wife- Martha J. Latta

Sons- Charlie Latta (Chrissy) and Eric Latta (Loretta)

One Grandson and two Granddaughters
