Carolyn Jane Scott

A Memorial Visitation service for Carolyn Jane Scott, 81, will be Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Peck Funeral Home directing. No other services are scheduled at this time.

Mrs. Scott passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born September 18, 1945, in Indiana, to Harry Metcalf and Josephine Mildred Scott .

She married Daniel Scott on October 5, 1963. She was employed by Peck Glasgow Insurance Agency, as a Sales Agent, and also worked for Chenault and Howard Agency, Rankin Agency, S.S. Nesbitt, and Valent Group, during her Insurance career.

She enjoyed many crafts, reading fishing with her husband, and spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 54 years- Daniel Scott, her parents, a grandson- Jeremiah Scott, Sisters- Wilma (P.A.) Schini, and Dorothy Hartman, Margaret Laag (Donald), Marjorie Sinnamon (Sunny), John Metcalf (Phylis), Forrest Metcalf (Sue), Cleo Metcalf Beverly), Perry Metcalf, and Russell Metcalf (Cheryl).

Survivors include -

her Daughter - Donna Beck (Ronald),

a Son - Matthew Scott,

Grandchildren - Mandy Parrish (Vance), and Tyler Beck (Kheala),

Great Grandchildren - Salem Parrish, Tadhg Parrish,

Huxley Beck and Layken Beck.

one Brother-in-law - Leonard Hartman and

a Sister-in-law - Sandra Cape.
