Carolyn "Bright Eyes" Cartee passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born November 21, 1989, in Jefferson County, to Phillip Jerome Cartee and Karamia Merriman Cartee.

Carolyn loved music, bon-fires, grilling, hanging out with her family and spending time with her fiance', Jud. She enjoyed going to the races to watch her Uncle Ben race, visiting with her sister and brother-in-law, art and doing puzzles.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents- Jarma Lee and Ben Merriman, Jr. and D.W. and Marion Cartee.
