Funeral service for Carolyn Ann Chunn Glenn, 91, will be Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at First Christian Church with Bro. Phillip Gilbert officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at First Christian Church.
Mrs. Glenn passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Folsom Center in Cullman, AL. She was born September 24, 1933, in Morgan County to John Mack Chunn and Annie Mae Oldham Chunn.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Valhermoso Springs, and was a Historian of Valhermoso Springs, which was originally called Chunn Springs and was founded by Lancelot Chunn. She was a charter member of the Morgan County Geneological Society and was a School Teacher for Union Hill and Cotaco Schools, but was licensed to teach in Alabama, Florida, and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband- Allen Wilson Glenn, and her parents.
Survivors include
Daughters - Denise Morales and
Dianne Chandler,
Son - Dewayne Chandler,
Four Grandchildren and
Eight Great Grandchildren,
and Cousins - Jeff Chunn and Denise Chunn Lenox.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church-Cemetery Trust, in Valhermoso Springs, Alabama.
