Carolyn Dale Cannon, 74, of Falkville, AL, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born on April 19, 1951, in Morgan County to J. W. Hughes and Zelma Cheatham.

Carolyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved gardening, her grandkids and great-grandkids, her animals and especially her dogs, Daisy, Cooper, and Little Bit. She fought like a warrior to the end of this life to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, her Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Carl Ray Hughes, and three sisters; Gail Clemmons, Ann Cash, and Virgie Narmore.

Survivors include:

Son- Ronald Douglas Cannon, Jr. (Cheryl)

Daughter- Alice Miller (Matthew)

Brother- Jurdy Wayne Hughes (Alice)

Sister- Shirley Marie Nolen

Grandchildren- Stephen Miller (Myranda), Amanda Reese (Travis), and Douglas Wunch.

Great- grandchildren- Abby Rae Reese, Andrew Rhett Reese, Dean Spartacus Miller, Beau Alexander Miller, and one more on the way.

Her best companions, her dogs- Daisy, Cooper, and Little Bit.
