A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Carol Ann Wheeler, 85, will be Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Wheeler passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  She was born November 3, 1940, in Ohio, to Richard Roscoe Thompson and Mary Elizabeth Irvin Thompson.

She was employed by Veteran's Outreach as a Veteran Assistant, prior to her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her husbands- Kenneth J. Reed, and Robert Wheeler; a daughter, Robyn L. (Reed) Epling; two brothers, Richard L. Thompson and Rush R. Thompson; and her parents.

Survivors include:

Sister - Marilyn L. (Thompson) Weidner,

Grandchildren -  Katheryn Epling, Jonah Epling, Matthew and Rachael (Epling) Locke.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Epling, Jonah Epling, Larry Barnes, Matthew Locke, Rachael Epling, and Katheryn Epling.
