A funeral service for Carl E. Smith, 94, of Hartselle, will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Long and Bro. Jerry Chenault officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Thursday. Mr. Smith was born on November 15, 1930 to Edward and Bessie Smith. He died on Monday, January 13, 2025 at his residence.
Carl Smith was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved camping, fishing, gardening, and hunting. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, and he proudly served in the army during the Korean war. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mildred Smith.
