A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Byron Kent, 62, will be Monday, June 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Bro. Lynn Harvel officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Kent passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at his residence.  He was born July 31, 1963, in Jefferson County,  to David Houston Kent and Wilma Glenn Miller Fitch.

He was employed as a Brick Mason, prior to his passing. Byron was saved in 1976 and was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle. His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his Brother - Steve Kent (Tara), of Titusville, FL, and a Niece - Alyssa Kent.
