Whitney Brooke Pangrazio of Hartselle passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 35 while on vacation in Orlando, Florida. She bravely battled colon cancer for almost two years.

Brooke was preceded in death by her beloved Poppy, James Lewis Gray; and her Papa, Bobby Joe Shadden. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Aaron Pangrazio; her daughter, Katherine Bates; her sons, James Pangrazio and Andrew Pangrazio; her sisters, Carlee (Sawyer) Smith and Ally (Dillan) Duling; her mother Jessica Gray; her father, Bobby Derald Shadden; her Meme, Kathy Gray; her Nana, Richie Scoggins Shadden; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandparents, great grandparents, and friends.

Brooke was a beautiful soul who loved simply relaxing in her hammock in the backyard while reading a book, and playing with her kids and pets. She worked at several places over the years including Cracker Barrel, where she met her husband, Aaron; Country Financial; and Longhorn. However, her life’s work has been raising and bringing joy to her amazing children.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, Alabama from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to follow.
