Funeral service for Brenda Gayle Turrentine Maples age 72 of Hartselle will be Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 3:00pm at Son Rise Baptist Church with Brother Brian Bridges and Brother Joe Nuss officiating with burial in the New Center Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will be at the Church one hour prior to the service.

Visitation will be Monday evening, March 16, 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Son Rise Baptist Church.

Mrs. Maples, who was born August 26, 1953, in Hartselle, Alabama to Albert Grady Turrentine and Vera Marie Asherbranner Turrentine, died on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Brenda was a precious wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the time spent with her family and was a charter member of Son Rise Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was raised by Godly parents with a Christian heritage, and she sought to instill in her family that same legacy. She loved Southern Gospel music and attending gospel singings.  She will be missed greatly!! She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ronnie Turrentine, and one sister, Reba Turrentine Brown.

3 Great-Grandchildren:       Lillie Morgan, Ezra Morgan, and Jake Morgan

Her Nephews will serve as Pallbearers
