Betty June Austin

Funeral service for Betty June Austin, 87, will be Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie McDonald and Bro. Tom Campbell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Austin passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 24, 1939, in Morgan County, to Cleo Johnson and Ruby Moore Johnson, who preceded her in death.

June was a Receptionist, for the Hartselle City Hall for many years, before her retirement. She was a member of Son Rise Fellowship Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

her Husband - Charles Austin,

Son - Charles Norman Austin (Pam),

Daughter - Cindy Flathmann (Gene),

Grandchildren - Brandi Austin, Candy Austin (Andrew),

and Gene Flathmann (Shelby).

Fourteen Great Grandchildren- Lincoln Barnes, Corbin Barnes,

Mary Flathmann, Teresa Giles,

Claire Medlin, Thomas Denson,

Willie Denson, Michael Giles,

Patrick Giles, Carter Giles,

Trevor Austin, Tanner Austin,

Blake Austin, and Lilly Flathmann.

Brad Rooks, Mike Draper, Donnie Hann, John David Hann, Bobby Lawrence, and Bobby Crawford will service as pallbearers.
