Funeral Service for Mrs. Betty R. Jones, 84, of Danville, will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Raburn and Bro. Ricky Ball officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones died Sunday, June 14, 2026, at her daughter's residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 3, 1942, in Washington County Tennessee to Samuel Ed Coffman and Tennie Mae Miller Coffman.

She and her late husband, Rev. Homer Jones, spent nearly their 60 + year marriage in ministry, spreading the gospel. She remained a member of Pleasant Hill Community Church after her husband's passing in 2020. Mrs. Jones was a loving mother, maw maw, devoted wife who always exhibited her strong faith and was a shining example for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and anyone else she encountered. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman "her children rise up and call her blessed."

She is survived by:

Son - Homer Jones (Jackie)

Daughters – Tammy McCoy (Jim)

Alicha Dupree (Ricky)

Brother- Ralph Coffman

Eight Grandchildren and thirteen great Grandchildren

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers
