Funeral service for Betty Jean Barnes, 70, will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim McCormick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Ms. Barnes passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at River City Center. She was born October 23, 1954, in Arkansas, to James Donald Luke and Lumbie Estelle Hale Luke.

She was a clerk for Mutual Savings Life Insurance, prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Sons - Brian Barnes (Brooke),
Daniel Barnes, and
her baby Dr. Kevin Barnes (Nicole),

Brothers - Billy Luke and
Donnie Luke (Vicki)

Sister - JoAnn Brown,
